SMOKED WHITEFISH PÂTÉ MADE WITH GREAT LAKES WHITEFISH
Fresh, creamy and gently smoky, made in Frankfort, Michigan with wild-caught whitefish and real maple wood smoke.
A GREAT LAKES SPECIALTY, MADE THE PORT CITY WAY
Our Whitefish Pâté begins with the ingredient that defines Port City Smokehouse: fresh, wild-caught Great Lakes whitefish.
The fish comes directly from commercial fishermen, with most of it harvested from the cold, clear waters of Lake Superior. We smoke it in-house using our signature sap-trapped maple wood, which creates a clean, gently sweet smoke flavor that complements the whitefish without overpowering it.
We then blend the smoked whitefish with cream cheese, a touch of mayonnaise, fresh onion and our own combination of seasonings. The result is a rich, creamy whitefish spread with a hearty texture and just the right amount of smoky flavor.
Sometimes called smoked whitefish dip or whitefish spread, it is a true Northern Michigan specialty—and one of the products Port City Smokehouse is best known for.
WHITEFISH IS THE FOUNDATION OF EVERY BATCH
We use a generous proportion of smoked whitefish, giving our pâté a satisfying texture and rich fish flavor that you can see and taste in every bite.
The cream cheese, mayonnaise, fresh onion and seasonings support the whitefish rather than overwhelm it.
Our Whitefish Pâté is made fresh in small batches without artificial preservatives or unnecessary additives. It is sold fresh and has never been frozen before purchase.
